The public is invited to attend and see the changes and technological innovations that have been made to the store. In addition to having two simulators, the store is now equipped with six hitting bays that feature 27-inch flat screen flight scope monitors to provide a detailed readout of each shot. A new short game improvement area features a 1300-square foot putting green, indoor chipping area and a real sand trap. The practice area will be available to golfers who want to test their short game skills clubs, as well as for use during lessons with one of the store's professional instructors. Martin's North Myrtle Beach location now features a huge assortment of home dcor in a new and expanded home entertainment department. Shoppers have access to a wide assortment of golf specialty furniture that is ideal for the home office, den or condo.
DCist Exposed Photography Show
Popular local blog, DCist.com, presents its first ever DCist Exposed Photography Show at the Warehouse Arts Complex. More than 35 local photographers, both amateur and professional, were chosen out of over 200 who submitted their work for the show through the DCist Flickr site. Every day DCist.com selects photos from this user-generated photo pool to use in its daily coverage of local news, arts and entertainment, politics, food and sports. The exhibit will showcase new talent as they reveal the city to us through the eyes of people who live and work in the D.C. metro area. The game, which presents a sequel storyline that asks "What if Tony Montana survived the mansion shootout?" has already sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide on other platforms. Actress and game show host Kris Aquino has admitted that she has been severely affected by the running scandal between her husband James Yap's alleged involvement with another woman, a certain Hope Centeno, a nurse at a popular skin clinic which the actress' spouse allegedly frequents. "What hurts me most is that now I am the one who has to face the people and explain everything," Kris tearfully said in Tagalog in an interview published by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) website. Near miscarriage Kris, the daughter of former president Corazon Aquino, is seven months pregnant with her baby by Yap.
