| Celebrity Rides
The leather-and-chrome set has a host of activities to choose from as Bike Week officially rolls into town. But along with the usual assortment of entertainment and contests, there are a number of events where you can check out the coolest in customized rides and try out the latest in production models. Trying to get out front as the coolest, the 2007 Seminole Hard Rock Roadhouse Tour starts today showing off its collection of customizers and the bikes they built for celebrities. The Seminole tour stop runs through March 11 on Main Street, said Carrie Repp of R&R Promotions, which stages the event. "We are thrilled to be able to add the celebrity bike element to (the tour)," Repp said in a release. "Most people probably don't realize how many celebrities are into motorcycles, and it's interesting to see who rides and what they ride." The custom builders are Dave Perewitz of Boston and his bike designed for NASCAR driver Tony Stewart; Russell Mitchell from Exile Cycles in California, showcasing a motorcycle customized for Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day; Ralph Randolph of Ralph Randolph Designs in Arizona and a bike built for actor Matthew McConaughey; and Victory Motorcycles' two-wheeler for NASCAR's Kyle Petty.

Music, Antidote For Disquet In The North
It was a memorable occasion for natives of the North, when they witnessed the first ever musical show, dubbed, Beacon of peace to promote peace and unity. The show which came off successfully last Saturday at the taxi rank in Tamale was an apparent declaration that music is the only antidote for disquiet in the region. It attracted thousands of inhabitants, including those from the Abudu and Andani gates, who did not demonstrate any form of violence or confusion throughout the night. Much security presence was thus not needed; there were only two police personnel to provide security. The event was one of the few in Ghana which needed such low security, yet ended successfully. Notably, patrons treated each other with friendliness and love.
From the boardroom to council chambers
The multimillionaire lawyer and venture capitalist was elected in 1993, eager to rebuild a city tarnished by the widespread rioting that followed the Rodney King beating trial. Observers and critics payed close attention during his first months in office. Would the impatient entrepreneur grow frustrated with his lack of power under L.A.'s notoriously weak mayoral system? Would he run city hall the way he'd run a law office or startup business? Would he be eaten alive by an experienced, powerful city council? Mr. Riordan's first day as mayor-elect appeared inauspicious. He ventured to the state capitol in Sacramento, lobbying against a plan to cut revenue transfers to California's cities. At a news conference, he deferred questions on the issue to L.A. city councillors, admitting his own lack of knowledge.

WWE: MAJOR NEWS ON WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT’S PLANS FOR NEW ...
Sileck has already stated that his main priorities in his new position as COO are to build on World Wrestling Entertainment's overseas success. Overseas tours to Europe and Australia have been massive revenue generators for WWE over the past few years at a time when domestic business has been down. A "localized WWE product" could mean that high priced tickets for fans outside of the United States become a thing of the past as annual tours are replaced by more regular shows in particular makets. Building a tailor-made brand of sorts for regional markets would possibly see WWE run more regularly in markets such as the UK, mainland Europe and Australia, as well as expanding into new markets such as Russia and China. For some locations, this could see a roster being built around wrestlers who would be seen as a star in a particular location.
