Wasn't it supposed to be game over after each Academy Fantasia (AF) series ended? Weren't the participants supposed to go back to daily life as a university freshy, a dentist - just ordinary folk? With the phenomenal success of the programme and the AF fan base, true visions (formerly UBC) couldn't let their potential stars fade away. Convention center funding should apply to private sector too
Good government should not compete with its own corporate citizens. As employers of all sizes are the backbone of our country, government at any level should not use public money to compete with private industry.
