The 21st annual Celebrity Dog Wash Festival, a benefit for Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital, will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 3 at Carlin Park, State Road A1A, south of Indiantown Road, Jupiter. Included will be arts and craft vendors, food, live entertainment, a children's play area, and celebrity dog washers and national recording artists "Three Dog Night" performing. Atlantic City sends Harrah's profit sliding
NEW YORK (Reuters) -- Harrah's Entertainment Inc., which agreed in December to be acquired by two private equity firms for $17.1 billion, posted lower-than-expected quarterly profit Tuesday amid weak earnings at its casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Increasing competition from the new Borgata casino and gaming in nearby Pennsylvania is taking its toll on Atlantic City, the second-largest gambling destination in the United States after Las Vegas. .
