Princeton, Kentucky

A Caldwell County Hospital agency that has maintained a home on Main Street in downtown Princeton for the past several years is now headed for the highway.

The hospitals home health agency, currently located at 107 West Main St., will soon be moving to an office building on U.S. 62 West.

Hospital CEO Charles Lovell Jr. said the home health agencys new headquarters would be the former Boggess auto dealership building, near the new home of the Pennyroyal Centers local mental health clinic.

Lovell said the agency had begun to outgrow its downtown location, the former Browns Furniture building, its home for most of this decade.

The new building, owned by developer Ronnie Coleman, has between 12 and 14 small offices, with room in the back for records storage a plus for the hospital, which is dealing with an abundance of medical records, some of which must be kept forever.

Time to party

Parents have spent the week balancing work and child care. And parents of college-age children have added filing tax and college financial aid forms by the March 1 deadline to the mix.

After a week like that, theres only one thing to do party. A good place to start is the spring gourmet dinner put on by the University of New Hampshires hospitality students.

Paraiso Mexicano features a six-course authentic menu on Friday and Saturday. Dishes include an appetizer of pork-stuffed peppers, authentic tortilla soup, snapper and shrimp with tomatoes, onions, garlic and jalapeno peppers, duck breast with mole sauce, tortilla salad and fried pastry with chocolate dessert. Live entertainment and a cash bar will round things out.

The event is pricey, about $50 a ticket, but think of it as fund-raising event.

The Kats started the season right by scoring on the third offensive play of the game on a 33-yard pass completion from Kats quarterback Clint Stoerner to wide receiver Cornelius Bonner. The Rampage didn't stay down long though on a points-filled second quarter.

First Rosie, then The Donald, now it's Hugo

During the otherwise bleary days of December, millions of TV aficionados watched in abject fascination as two of entertainment's largest personalities engaged in a passion contest that would have done justice to an event sponsored by the World Wrestling Federation.

Rosie O'Donnell of "The View" climbed into the ring with a recitation of the shortcomings of Donald Trump, star of "The Apprentice," by questioning his business acumen, raising allegations of substance abuse, by hints of bankruptcy and by criticism of his clumsy handling of the travails of the reigning Miss USA.
