Music merchandising firm Signatures Network has selected Blue Sky Factory as the company's e-mail marketing services partner. Blue Sky Factory will work with Signatures Network to power e-mail campaigns and fan-based electronic communications for a collection of today's most popular performers, including Justin Timberlake and Rock Star Supernova. From a consumer standpoint, deals like this make one-to-one and opt-in communications even stronger, said Greg Cangialosi, president of Blue Sky Factory. In this particular case, millions of end users, who have elected to stay connected with the news and events that surround their favorite entertainers and artists, can now receive the content they seek in a more timely, relevant fashion.Signatures Network holds the rights to market and license more than 125 superstars, artists, celebrities and entertainment properties.

The 21st annual Celebrity Dog Wash Festival, a benefit for Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital, will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 3 at Carlin Park, State Road A1A, south of Indiantown Road, Jupiter. Included will be arts and craft vendors, food, live entertainment, a children's play area, and celebrity dog washers and national recording artists "Three Dog Night" performing. No more baby for Yayo Aguila and William Martinez
Kahit na puwede pang magbuntis, wala na raw plano si Yayo Aguila at ang kanyang mister na si William Martinez na madagdagan pa ang kanilang tatlong anak na puro mga babae. Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Yayo sa media launch ng Bagets Foundation sa Max's Restaurant, Roces Avenue in Quezon City. Kapansin-pansin ang pagiging slim ngayon ni Yayo dala ng pagkahilig niya sa badminton. "Pareho kami ni William na nahilig na sa badminton," sabi ni Yayo. "Kapag wala kaming parehong trabaho, yun ang ginagawa namin. Ang maganda kasi is you meet up with friends sa badminton court. Kami-kami rin ang nagkikita-kita kaya hindi nawawala yung tsismisan." Matagal din daw na inasam ni Yayo na pumayat siya kaya gusto na niyang i-maintain ito.
`Make Me a Song' Celebrates William Finn
From "March of the Falsettos" to "A New Brain" to "Elegies" to "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," he has written show music that is unfailingly original, often funny as well as poignant. Now you can hear a collection of his work in "Make Me a Song: The Music of William Finn," opening April 19 at off-Broadway's Zipper Theatre. Preview performances begin April 6. Business group plans drive to lure residents downtown
That's the titillating question downtown Dallas businesses and leaders will ask area residents as part of a six-month, $500,000 marketing campaign aimed at luring them to the city's urban core. The campaign, unveiled by DowntownDallas at its annual meeting Friday, represents an aggressive shift in the business association's effort to promote the center city's expanding stock of housing, restaurants, cultural facilities and entertainment offerings. "Downtown no longer closes at 5 p.m., and it's time to spread that message, it's time to tell our story," said John Crawford, DowntownDallas' outgoing chairman. DowntownDallas will do so using billboards and print advertisements to drive viewers to an interactive Web site, which officials say will launch March 1. The group on Friday also screened a slickly produced video featuring young professionals explaining why they live and work downtown while The Who's hit "Who Are You" plays in the background.
